Red Tribe Boxing

The Eskasoni & Paqtnkek Red Tribe Boxing clubs have joined forces and will be hosting a boxing card at the Port Hawkesbury Civic Centre on May 14, 2022. The Scarberian Boxing Club from Toronto will be competing against the Eskasoni Red Tribe Boxing Club, with an estimated 15 bouts on the program for the evening. This will be a historical evening for Cape Breton. The crowd will also have the pleasure of viewing cultural dancers and singers during the opening of the games. The Main Event will feature Eskasoni Red Tribe member Brian Phillips vs Charles Johnson of the Warriors Boxing Club in St Peter's, NS.
